Hello!

I'm

Swapnil Madhav Bhale

Mechanical Engineer

Welcome and thank you for taking time to visit my site. The goal of this portfolio is to give you a deeper insight into my experiences and skills I have gained over my recent history.

My aim is to provide highly valuable and practical designs for projects that focus on high-quality with reduced manufacturing/process costs.

Quad Bike

Design and Manufacturing of Quad Bike.

The aim of the project was to design and manufacture a Quad Bike according to the rules of a national level competition - Quad TORC.

I served as the Team Captain and Lead Chassis Designer.

I designed the main frame and mounts of the quad bike and some parts of suspension and steering system.

Go-Kart

Design and Manufacturing of Go-kart (mini race car).

The aim of the project was to design and manufacture a go-kart for a national level design competition - GKDC.

I worked in the body work and wheel assembly team.

I assisted in chassis design. Worked on ergonomics, safety and exterior of the go-kart. Designed firewall.

Robotic Arm for Pick & Place

A robotic arm to sort colored items into bins using pick & place operations.

The aim of the project was to design and program a robotic arm on CoppeliaSim software for pick and place operation. The objects must be placed inside the respective colored bins. The modelled arm is the UR5 manipulator.

CoppeliaSim is a robotic simulator used in industry, education and research.

Mechatronics System for low torque & high precision rotation

Design a rotating assembly for low torque, high precision application.

The aim of the project was to design an assembly having 1 active rotating degree of freedom, transmitting driven rotation from a motor to a spinning shaft to which any generic appliance can be coupled.

Thermoelectric Module (Energy Project)

Concept Design and Performance analysis of tube shaped Thermoelectric Conversion Module for waste heat recovery.

The aim of the project was nascent concept design, development and analysis of a thermoelectric module in tube shape having 8-10% higher efficiency than the conventional rigid Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) available and used in the market.

Slider Crank Mechanism

Durability Analysis of a planar slider crank mechanism (MBS) with flexible connecting rod using a Multi-body Simulation software.

The main objective of this project was to study the durability analysis of mechanical systems containing rigid and flexible bodies. The mechanical system studied in this project was a planar Slider Crank mechanism. To carry out this analysis both Finite Element (FE) and Multibody System (MBS) algorithms were used.

Headphone

Modeling and Rendering of a Headphone (Beat Solo 3)

Structural analysis of the headband of a headphone.

The aim of this project was to make a detailed assembly model of a headphone (Beats Solo 3 wireless for reference).

Followed by structural analysis of the headband using basic boundary conditions to study stress, deformation and fatigue for 100,000 cycles.

Snatch Block Assembly of EOT.

Designing of the parts for Snatch Block assembly of Electric Overhead Travelling crane for lifting a load of 150 KN, hoisting speed 5m/min and lift of 10m and preparing Bill of Material.

Design includes Rope, Sheave, Bearing , Axle, Hook, Thrust Bearing, Nut, Cross piece, Shackle Plate, Drum, Hoisting motor, drum shaft, Bearing for drum shaft.
