The aim of the project was to design an assembly having 1 active rotating degree of freedom, transmitting

driven rotation from a motor to a spinning shaft to which any generic appliance can be coupled.

The system consists of following Components-

  1.   Motor

  2.   Encoder

  3.   Pinion

  4.   Gear Wheel

  5.   Shaft

  6.   Bearings

  7.   Bearing Housing

  8.   Motor Housing

  9.   Base Frame

  10.   Shaft Key

  11.   Fasteners

calculations for the designs of the part to be manufactured and the

components to be selected off the shelf.
