Robotic Arm for Pick & Place
A robotic arm to sort colored items into bins using pick & place operations.
The aim of the project was to design and program a robotic arm on CoppeliaSim software for pick and place operation. The modelled arm is the UR5 manipulator.
CoppeliaSim is a robotic simulator used in industry, education and research.
The goal was to place blue boxes in the blue bin and red boxes in the red bin.
The end effector of the UR5 is fitted with a force connecter, a proximity sensor, and a vision sensor.
